The Marshalltown School Board met Monday and gave an okay to move forward on the process for taking bids for work on Phase 2 of the Roundhouse Project at Marshalltown High School. School Superintendent Dr. Theron Schutte says a pre-bid conference will be held on May 16th and a final decision on awarding the contract will be done on May 30th. Students from Franklin Elementary School  presented to the board about what they have been doing and what they have been learning this school year. Lots of students, staff and parents on hand. Registration fees for students at Miller Middle School, the Marshalltown learning Academy and M-H-S are going up. from 50 to 70$ at MLA nd the high school and from 50 to 60$ at Miller Middle School.
