In court news: a Marshalltown man has been sentenced in Federal Court in a methamphetamine trafficking case. The sentencing for for 46 year old Marcos  Perez-Trevino was handed down at Cedar Rapids, 24 years in prison. He was found guilty last August in a case that dates back to August of 2014. He was part of a network of meth distribution imported from Mexico.
