(Des Moines, IA) – General Motors is recalling more than four-million vehicles in the U.S. to fix an airbag software defect. The automaker says, the car’s airbag deployment system could suddenly go into “test mode” causing the front airbags to not inflate in the event of a crash. Effected models include: 2014-2017 Model Year Buick, Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. If your vehicle is on the recall list, you’ll be receiving a notice in the mail. You can take your car to your GM dealer and they will fix the problem free of charge.
