(Ames, IA) – A 21-year-old Iowa State University student is recovering today after jumping off the roof of a sorority house. It happened Saturday night at the Delta House on the ISU campus. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered Matthew Beth of Ames jumping off the roof. He was taken to a local hospital where he’s listed in critical condition. Police believe Beth had been drinking heavily and this was not a suicide attempt.
