The Fourth of July Fireworks Show committee will be hosting a fundraiser in Marshalltown today outside of the Orpheum Theater  Center starting at 5:00 p.m. Organizer Louisa Ortega says music and food will be featured along with water and soda. Las Guitarras will perform along with the Prairie Creek String Band from Marshall County. A number of area merchants have contributed to the cause. Ortega says the fireworks show will be held the night of Monday July 4th at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds.
