(Marshalltown, Iowa) – The Marshalltown Police and Fire Advisory Committee hosted an open house last night at the Fisher Community Center, to discuss plans for the new police and fire station. Architect Jim Classey, whose with Prohaska and Associates said the goal is to get the public informed and involved. Classey went on to say, the final design layout will complement the architectural structure of the surrounding buildings in the area of West Anson Street. The next open house is scheduled for June 5th from 1-4pm at the Fisher Community Center.
