Among the events on Memorial Day next Monday in Marshalltown, will be an event on the North Center Street bridge, in which the Navy Mothers will drop a wreath into the waters of the Iowa River that passes through the city. The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Memorial Day and the public is invited to be a part of the remembrance. Two other events will take place locally that morning at Riverside and Rose Hill cemeteries.
