In news from the Iowa State University Police Department: there will be a free lunch served today by law enforcement from the Ames and Story County Area, the Texas Roadhouse in Ames will be the location, the timing will be from 11 am to two p-m. Organizers say free will proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics Iowa event which will begin on May 19th. Patrons are being asked to leave a donation at their tables upon leaving.
