The Marshall County Board of Supervisors in meeting Tuesday approved the purchase of a new motor grader by the counties Secondary Roads Department. County Engineer Paul Geilenfeldt says the vehicle has a price tag of 247-thousand dollars from Murphy Tractor and Equipment of Des Moines. Funds for the purchase of coming out of the budget for 2016 and 2017. In other news from the meeting the Supervisors say that six different entities have rented the counties Mobile Band Shell for events this year so far.
