The Iowa Hawkeye men`s basketball season ended Sunday with a thud as the Hawks were routed by Villanova 87-68. The Hawks were down 34 points at one point in the game. Jarrod Uhtoff lead Iowa with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Mike Gesell handed out six assists. Iowa has not made the Sweet 16 since 1999.
