Planning is continuing for the concert to raise funds for the Memorial Coliseum in Marshalltown on July 6th. Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer is excited about the event, which includes a concert from Iowa’s own Jason Brown. Greer says hopes are running high for the turnout, maybe to the tune of 3,000 to 4,000 attendees or more.
While we continue to await some details of the concert, Greer told us on Central Iowa Today yesterday afternoon that Brown has insisted that all kids under the age of 12 will be able to attend the event free of charge.
