Well, that didn’t take long. Less than 48 hours after the Board of Supervisors approved an emergency declaration due to flooding, the State of Iowa has added Marshall County to the list of those counties declared a disaster.

The proclamation from Governor Kim Reynolds allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program for qualifying residents, along with the Disaster Case Management Program.
