Resolutions for the proposed budget amendment for the current fiscal year, along with the budget for fiscal year 2019 both received approval during a meeting of the Marshalltown City Council yesterday.

While objections were again voiced about using the E-911 within the budget rather than backing it out of the budget. City Council members said they were pleased with the budget.

The council received letters from three citizens supporting the resolution, nine comments were received against the resolution.
