Best selling author William Kent Krueger visited Marshalltown and the Marshalltown Public Library. He gave a talk and signed copies of his books. Krueger encouraged people to abandon their smart phones and computers and spend an hour a day reading a book or books. He says he fears the internet is altering the way brains work and reading and story telling is being compromised. A large crowd heard him speak at the library.
