Central Iowa Healthcare held what was called an annual Corporation Meeting at the hospital Tuesday evening, it was disclosed that the bankruptcy process is moving ahead with a hearing scheduled for this Friday. The latest financial summary was also given. Corporation members approved two proposals to keep things going at the facility without interruption. Members by the margin of 88-0 approved the sale of assets to Unity Point Health Waterloo for a price tag of 12 and a half million dollars. They also approved a proposal to retain the 13 member Board of Trustees until the bankruptcy proceedings are done.
