A collaboration of groups held an educational event about the impact of pornography at the Marshalltown Public Library on Tuesday. The event was facilitated by Carrie Barr of Marshalltown. A video was shown, some facts were given and participants discussed the issue and its impact on society. This is White Ribbon Week Against Pornography. It was disclosed that pornography gets more clicks on line than Amazon, Netflix and Twitter combined and that church marriage counselors report that a large share of the consulting they do with couples can involve pornography. Also sex trafficking fuels the porn industry.
