Oktemberfest week is undwerway in Marshalltown. The first of four days of events will take place late Thursday afternoon with the opening of the carnival rides from Smith`s Amusements and also the food vendors that are on hand. The naming of Little Miss and Mister Oktemberfest will also be taking place. A Kids Fun Run will also be taking place.
