Rookie Erik Jones won the U-S Cellular 250 Saturday night at Newton at the Iowa Speedway. This was his third XFINITY win of the season. Jones took the lead from Ty Dillon with 16 laps remaining and never looked back. He led for 154 laps of the 250 lap race. Jones lost his father Dave to cancer at the age of 53 back in June.  Ty Dillon was 2nd, Elliot Sadler was 3rd, Brennan Poole was 4th and Dakoda Armstrong was 5th. There were seven lead changes in the race and six caution flags along the way. Elliot Sadler after the race results were in is now in first place in the XFINITY points standings. The race was heard on KIX 101.1.
