The State Baseball Tournament continued Tuesday in Des Moines at Principal Park: there were four Class 3-A Quarterfinal round games as part of the day. Harlan beat Bishop Heelan of Sioux City 8-6, Solon a number 8 seed knocked off Dubuque Wahlert 12-2, Carlisle edged Central Dewitt 8-7, and the Little Dutch of Pella beat Humboldt 6-0. Today`s action will feature the big schools in Class 4-A: at 11 am Waukee plays Johnston, Prairie of Cedar Rapids plays Davenport West at 1:30 pm, Iowa City West plays Cedar Rapids Jefferson at 5 pm, and Des Moines Roosevelt plays Urbandale at 7:30.
