No new wind turbines will be constructed in Hardin County for the foreseeable future.

The Hardin County Board of Supervisors has voted to place an indefinite moratorium on the turbines.

A proposed wind farm at Highways 175 and 65 helped spur the decision. There is also concern about interference with a new 911 system.
