One of the bigger softball…literally…tourneys in the state begins tonight in Marshalltown. The Clincher 16 inch classic begins at seven and continues through Sunday. 19 teams will compete, including four from the Chicago area.
Eric Wilson of the Marshalltown Softball Association describes the 16-inch softball…and playing with that size of ball as trying to hit a beach ball.
The action, of course, all at the 6th Street Softball Complex all weekend long.
