33-YEAR OLD RICHARD FLECK, ALSO KNOWN AS RASHAUD SIMS, IS BEING SOUGHT AS A PERSON OF INTEREST IN CONNECTION WITH AN AMES HOMICIDE.  AMES POLICE DISCOVERED THE BODY OF A WOMAN IN AN APARTMENT ABOUT 7 O’CLOCK SATURDAY NIGHT.  ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT FLECK’S WHEREABOUTS IS ASKED TO CONTACT AMES POLICE.

WHAT’S BEING TERMED AN ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM INSIDE A PARKED CAR HAS LED TO THE WOUNDING OF A JUVENILE IN DES MOINES LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON.  IT OCCURRED ABOUT FIVE O’CLOCK SUNDAY ON DES MOINES’ SOUTH SIDE.  THE INJURIES WERE NOT CONSIDERED LIFE THREATENING.
