You’ve heard of citizen Police Academies, Fire Acadamies, but what about a County Attorney Academy? Marshall County Attorney Jennifer Miller has floated the thought to the Board of Supervisors and Board Chair Dave Thompson feels it would be a great chance for folks to learn more about what goes on after an arrest is made. He says this might be a good opportunity for anyone of any age.

Volunteers interested in the program will have to submit to a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement. The County is looking at launching this program later this year.
