Another phone scam is ringing onto phones around the Marshalltown area.

Marshalltown Police say this time the caller says he/she is with the Social Security Administration, investigating a fraud and there is a problem with your Social Security number.

The only fraud is the phone call. Don’t give these folks ANY personal and/or financial information, including your Social Security number. You know the drill, just hang up on these folks.
