2019 will be the 50th class reunion for the Marshalltown High Class of 1969. As plans are underway for that reunion, a decision was made to launch what is being called a legacy project to be known as Marshalltown Tree Restoration. Lyle Jensen says there will be four parts to the project: planting trees at the Veterans Home, at the home of Veterans, at grandparents homes and for public areas. On September 29th of next year, a celebration is planned for the project.
Jensen says the Class of 69 welcomes any and all contributions. There is a face book pace at Marshalltown Tree Restoration, as well as a GoFundMe page available.
