The Iowa Cubs continue to sputter as time is running out for the month of July. In their latest outing the Iowa team dropped a 7-1 decision to New Orleans at the Big Easy. They fall to 16 games under .500 at 45-61. The finale of a four game set in which they have dropped two out of three will be played this evening at seven p-m. Then it`s on to Omaha and a four game set which will start tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. at Werner Park in Pappilion Nebraska.
