The #10 rated Newton Cardinals bested Marshalltown in girls soccer Thursday night at Leonard Cole Field in Marshalltown by the score of 4-2. Rachel Whaley had both tallies for Marshalltown, the Bobcats slipped to 3-4 on the season.
