Suggested changes to an organizational chart touched off concern by administrators and building principals at the latest meeting of the Marshalltown School Board Monday night. The changes were drawn up by school board member Ben Stansberry, in them an Associate Superintendents position would be changed. Further action on the matter is anticipated at another meeting. In other action a search firm indicated that 23 people have applied for the Superintendents job that opened up when present Superintendent Doctor Marvin Wade submitted his resignation to take another job in Manhattan Kansas at the start of the new fiscal year in July. And a new Director of Buildings and Grounds has been hired in Brent Asher who presently works at Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and is an alumnus of the school.
