A good sized crowd took part in a public input session held at the Marshalltown High School Auditorium Tuesday about the search for a new School Superintendent for the Marshalltown School District. A crowd of 50 was engaged in the event answering questions and making suggestions about the search process. Some eight to 10 applications for the job have been received as the window for making applications closes April 14th. The school board hopes to have someone hired by the latter part of May. Present School Superintendent Doctor Marvin Wade has accepted another job offer in Manhattan Kansas and will be leaving at the end of the fiscal year.
