It was the last Parent Teacher Student Conference of my life and my son’s, he graduates in May. Nope he is not attending college in the fall. He is not sure what he wants to do. I remember when I graduated high school I had no idea what I was going to do. I guess I should not be surprised that he is the same way.

I am glad that I took the time to attend these conferences. I got to meet the teachers who are teaching my son. I even have one of his teachers card with his contact info. I also have their e-mails in case I need to communicate with them about an issue.

Parents have to understand that they are their child’s advocate!!! I want to thank those teachers who made an impact in my son’s education Mrs. Mead, Mrs. Lisa Williams, and Mrs. Yates I know there are more. THANK YOU!!!!
