The Marshalltown girls softball had been to the regional final, but never
advanced to the Big Show...the State softball Tournament in Ft Dodge, until
2012.

     The Bobcats knocked off Cedar Rapids Kennedy,  then knocked out #3
Muscatine 2-1 before knocking out Burlington 10-6 on Tuesday night.  All
three wins on the road.  The win evened Marshalltown's season mark
at 21-21, earning them the #8 seed and a spot next Tuesday against
#1 ranked Ankeny's Hawkettes.
