Wanted: Man Identified in Marshalltown Shooting

The Marshalltown Police Department have announced a person of interest in the September 10th shooting of a 17-year-old in Marshalltown. Police have identified the man as 32-year-old Daniel Robert Lott, of Marshalltown. He is wanted on the charge of Attempt to Commit Murder. He is described as being African American and 5'10'' and weighing 220 pounds.

The police were notified of the shooting on September 10th around 6:30 p.m. when they responded to the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center after being alerted of a makle subject admitted seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the head. The victim did not suffer life threatening injuries.

Lott has not been located at this time. The investigation is on-going and anyone with information about the case or the whereabouts of Daniel Lott is urged to contact the Marshalltown Police Department at 641-754-5725.
