Builders have been constantly working on the renovation to the Tall Corn Towers. As the construction comes to a close the plans for people moving in have progressed. And Michelle Sponheimer, Director of Marshalltown Housing a Community Development says it's a complete turn around from what the building once was.
"They are beautiful, they are a great change what they were many months ago," Sponheimer say, "We're very excited to see the progress happening."
She says that people have been very interested in living in the newly renovated building. After holding an initial application intake, Commonbond was able to be made aware of those interested to live in the facility. Sponheimer says she understands that there was a well attended turnout for those sessions.
And if you're interested there will be two more times when you can visit the location yourself. "There will be a presence during the holiday stroll," she says, "as well as an upcoming tour opportunity on December 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM."
That event will be open to any one who is interested. They have an expected move in date for February 1st, 2014. If interested you can go to the city's Facebook page
