Republicans come to town!

by KIX101.1 /1230 KFJB News Department posted Jun 6 2014 7:08AM
A group of Iowa Republican candidates came to Marshalltown on the heels of the Primary elections last Tuesday and appeared at Legends American Grill.
Among the contingent was State Senator and U-S Senate candidate Joni Ernst who appeared to be riding high after the primary victory and the national publicity about an ad she ran talking about castrating pigs as a young farm girl. Also part of the contingent visiting Marshalltown was Governor Terry Branstad, Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds, Secretary of State candidate Paul Pate, U-S 1st District Congressional candidate Rod Blum, State Auditor Mary Mosiman, and an appointed candidate for State Attorney General Adam Gregg. A good crowd turned out to welcome and hear the candidates in Marshalltown.
