Marshalltown School Board takes its act on the road.

The Marshalltown School Board met in regular session at Hoglan Elementary School at the School Lunchroom.

Principal Amy Williams in her 6th year showed the board a video of students and then took them on a tour of the building.

School Board then led by President Sherman Welker met and conducted items of business for some 34 minutes.

The board signed off on a legal process that certified that work at Marshalltown High School on labs for Project Lead the Way were quote "Substantially Complete", the school board also approved a two year agreement with the Marshalltown Police Department to utilize officer Craig Lagaschulte as a School Resource officer.

Hoglan elementary school is on the south side of Marshalltown.
