Marshalltown, Parking Lot Robbery- UPDATE

The Marshalltown Police Department has issued a release regarding a robbery that took place on September 25th.

On Wednesday, October 16, the Marshalltown Police brought Jose Enrique Morales, 18, to the station for questioning. He was subsequently then taken into custody as a material witness in the September armed robbery.  He has been transported to the Marshall County Jail, charged, and is being held without bond.
Following the arrest of Morales, Marshalltown Police executed a search warrant at the Morales residence to search for items of evidence connected to the robbery investigation.

On September 25, a woman was robbed at gun point outside of the Younkers Store entrance at Marshalltown Center. The suspects then fled in the direction of a school, placing it on shelter-in-place.
The case still remains under investigation by the Marshalltown Police Department.
