by KIX101.1/ 1230 KFJB News Department posted Oct 8 2013 3:14PM
The Marshalltown High School Marching band needs your help to raise money and they are willing to feed you according to Brett Unthum who is the associate band director at the high school. Tickets will be 20-dollars but He says you will get something with that price tag. "It will be $10.00 for the ticket and the meal and then an extra $10.00 for a donation," Unthum says. He adds that, "A name plate on each of the tables and then your name in the paper, for offering your donation.

Unthum says that he has a destination in mind for the 90-plus member band can share their music. And there are some sunny destinations coming down the road for the band. "In two years, we're looking to go to the Tournament of Roses Parade," Unthum says, "or going to Arizona again, for or big band trip."

And if you can’t make the dinner yourself, there is another way you can donate. You can mail a check to the Marshalltown High School band at 1602 S. 2nd Ave., Marshalltown, IA 50158.

The pasta dinner will be held the evening of Monday, October 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the MHS auditorium.
