Iowa River update.

The Iowa River at Marshalltown is down five feet from its crest of the other day.
 
The stage this morning was 17.25 feet, flood stage is 19 feet, the crest set last week was 22.25 feet which was an all time record that beat a record that was set just last year.
 
The last of the major road closures was lifted Saturday morning as the DOT reopened a stretch of U-S 63 in the Tama area.
