MARENGO, Iowa (AP) — A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for a former Iowa County treasurer.

Online court records say the hearing is set April 28 for 53-year-old Kimberly Tanke. She pleaded guilty on Monday to felony theft.

A private auditing firm and Iowa County officials say more than $62,000 was taken between 2006 and 2010, when Tanke served as county treasurer.

Tanke recently served on the Iowa County Board of Supervisors but cited personal reasons for resigning on Jan. 20.
