Flu Shot Clinics Return to Marshall County

After a delay, flu clinics have returned to Marshall County. According to Pat Thompson, who is the Marshall County Public Health Nurse, "Due to slow delivery of flu vaccine I had to reschedule some of the flu clinics for this fall, 2013."

She also added that, "Thanks for your support of these efforts. The important thing is that Marshall County residents get their flu shots to help protect those who can’t."
 
She recommends that all those who can get a flu shot. They are $35.00 each and MMSC Home Care Plus will bill Medicare Part B and Medicare HMOs.

You can find a clinic at the following locations and times:
  • State Center Fire Department- Tuesday, November 5th, 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Gilman City Hall- Thursday, November 7th, 11:00 AM to Noon
  • Melbourne City Hall- Friday, November 8th, 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Albion Library- Wednesday, November 13th, Noon to 1:00 PM
  • Liscomb Community Center- Wednesday, December 4th, 11:30 AM to Noon

Flu Shots are available in MMSC Home Care Plus by appointment. To schedule an appointment all (641) 754-6353.
