There's a lot that goes into choosing the perfect college and then paying for the school of your dreams. That’s why there will be a College Prep Day on November second at Drake University. Spokesperson Gretchen Woods recognizes that there will be plenty of questions about moving forward, and that’s what the day is for.
Many people from the college world will be on hand to answer questions. Woods say there will be people there, "to share bits and pieces of information that will help students better prepare."
Paying for college is one issues that is on the minds of parents and students alike. There will people at the fair who will be answer questions about financial aid. Sessions will be held, and people at the fair, in general, will be able to assist in this major planning step. "There will be people from admissions from a variety of schools there to answer any of those kinds of questions," Woods said.
According to Woods, there is a distinct reason for the College Prep Day. Our purpose is to give them the information that will help them progress through the high school experience," Woods says, "and trigger their ideas of what they're going to do post high school."
College Prep Day will be held on November Second from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM in Drake University’s Parent’s Hall in the Olmsted Building.
