Bond for Marshalltown man increased in murder case.

The bond for a Marshalltown man in a 1st Degree murder case has been altered to one million dollars by a judge after an initial appearance in the case.

28 year old Branden Collins was arrested last week after a three year old child he had been watching died after being airlifted to Blank Childrens Hospital in Des Moines.

The child was identified as Jossilyn Starm, Collins was the live in boyfriend of the childs mother Jennifer.

Collins allegedly told police he had grabbed the child by the arm and threw

her to the ground.

He faces charges of !st Degree Murder, Child Endangerment, Marijuana Possesion and Possesion of Drug Paraphernalia.
