A stormy night in Iowa.

It was a stormy night last night and early this morning in Iowa.
 
Strong winds, including wind related damage, heavy rain, large hail and tornados were reported.
 
The most rain that fell was reported in Cedar Rapids with four inches, the strongest wind gust was at Polk City at 75 miles per hour, in the Des Moines Metro area they sounded the storm sirens because of the strong winds that moved through.
 
Closer to home Dysart in Tama County had a 60 mile per hour wind gust and a funnel cloud that was spotted, Brooklyn also had a wind gust of 60 miles per hour.
 
At rural Humboldt that had hail four inches in diameter, there were telephone poles at Dallas Center downed by strong winds and flash flooding was reported at Hampton.
 
(Marshalltown had a peak wind gust of 55 miles per hour and nearly 3 inches of rain).
