Have you ever considered being a Red Cross volunteer? Maybe even after the tornado roared through Marshalltown? You can be by Sunday. The American Red Cross will be holding a “Zero2Hero” training event Friday evening and Saturday at Fisher Community Center. Taz Stills of the Red Cross says the need for Red Cross volunteers remains urgent.

The sessions ran from four to nine Friday evenings and nine to five on Saturday. The training is free of charge. All you have to do is show up at Fisher Community Center Friday afternoon.
