The Marshalltown City Council will meet at 5:30 tonight with a number of items on the agenda. Those include accepting a cash value payment for the Senior Citizens Center, as part of the consent agenda.  Also, the city is proposing terminating the agreement with the YMCA-YWCA   for operation of the Aquatic Center and assuming management of the facility.

Other area meetings include;

The Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors meets at 8:30;

The Grundy County Board of Supervisors meets at nine;

The South Tama County Board of Education will meet in special session at 5:30;

The Eldora-New Providence Community School District Board’s meeting will get underway at 6:30.
