With Fall almost upon us, it’s time for another season, election season.
Marshall County says the Election Department will be ready for absentee balloting to begin on October 8th. Director of Elections Nan Benson says the Annex Building, across the street from the Courthouse, will be where you need to go, if you plan to vote absentee.
Bensons says they have already received numerous requests for ballots to be mailed out to voters, which they will be doing once the ballots have been printed. Mailed absentee ballots need to be postmarked by November 5th.
