The Ames Boys Golf Team placed fifth in the Johnston Dragon Invitational at Jester Park Golf Course.

Connor Van Weelden shot a one-over 73 to place sixth in the individual standings.

Valley and Dowling tied for first; Valley took the team crown on the tiebreaker. Ames was 10 shots back in the ten-team field.
