One class of area residents which continues to struggle post tornado are pets. The Animal Rescue League was without power and internet until just a few days ago. The shelter is now up and running and Shelley Deal says strays continue to be dropped off.

Deal says while the ARL was without power, Animal Clinic the Vet and Happy Tails stepped up to help with strays. She adds the ARL is full, but they can always make room for more pets displaced by the tornado.
