UNI Athletics has hired Jonathan Treiber as assistant athletic director for marketing and fan engagement.

Treiber will oversee all marketing, licensing and promotional activities for UNI athletic events as well as in-game entertainment and the spirit squads. His duties also include implementation of ticket promotions and sales plans along with advertising campaigns.

Treiber comes to UNI after three years as director of marketing at South Dakota State.
