Stating he is proud of the work of the Marshalltown Regional Partnership, David Barajas, Jr. resigned Friday as the CEO of the organization.

Regional Partnership Chair Chris Brodin called Baragas, Jr. a “real asset” for Marshalltown and cited his support of education. The MRP Board will be meeting to determine the “…next steps…and filling the vacated position.”

Just last week, the Marshalltown Regional Partnership, which includes the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce, Marshall Economic Development and the Convention and Visitors Bureau, held its annual banquet. The event spotlighted the past years accomplishments for the MRP overall, while expressing optimism about the future.
